EH Infra specializes in the construction and maintenance of underground fiber optic networks. We do this for multiple clients, work packages and at various locations throughout the country. Each work package has its own schedule of requirements, the difference is mainly in the work to be carried out and within which periods they must be carried out. To ensure that this runs smoothly, we have set up a number of departments for this purpose;
New construction - This department is engaged in making house connections to new construction projects in the Amsterdam region. During construction, the homes will be equipped with a fiber optic connection before the home is delivered. From placing the drawer to finishing the FTU (fiber optic cabinet) in the home, we carry out all welding work and we blow the power supplies, the excavation work is often carried out by another party.
FTTX - This department is involved in the roll-out of the network in existing homes and buildings. We are currently carrying out the chimney and HAS activities here. We check in advance how the houses should be connected, ensure the correct permissions and after another party has dug everything up, we plan and make the house connections.
Management & Assurance - After an FTTX or new-build project has been completed and delivered, it enters the management phase, where the malfunctions are resolved, we make home connections, migrate, put or remove connections in the power stations, so the network remains in optimal condition .
Reconstructions - It sometimes happens that the fiber optic network has to be moved or removed, often due to other activities. This department is involved in this type of work nationally, which is often complex work with tight deadlines. Here we carry out all occurring activities ourselves.
